A quality canned food is the best for your cat. I have three male cats who eat only canned and a raw meat diet I prepare for them from organic turkey and chicken. I use Natural Balance (which has quite a few "flavors" to choose from - turkey and giblet is one they don't particularly like). I use Wellness turkey and turkey and salmon - my cats don't like the chicken or beef in the Wellness. Also Lick Your Chops - lamb and the chicken - my cats don't like the turkey in that either. Funny as in the raw meat the turkey is the favorite over the chicken. Natural Balance has a salmon and fish variety - I use the fish sparingly, like twice a week max. Wellness and Natural Balance have the small cans which you can try with your cat for starters.
