My dog ate her pet meds yesterday, all of them?
Posted by admin | Under Pet Vitamins Friday Feb 19, 2010Should I be concerned if my dog found the box i got in the mail with two bottles of Pet Vitamins. there were a total of 160 pills. now there are 9 left. she also got into the trash.
YESTERDAY? How is she today? Did she throw up? Is she acting normal?? How come you waited til today to ask about yesterday? Why wouldn’t you call the vet the second you realized what had happened?
If she is perfectly fine today, then it’s likely that she will be okay.. You should call and talk to the VET tho, tell him what she ate and how much and WHEN it happened and see what he says.. I am more concerned that you waited a whole day to even mention it.. Kinda late now isn’t it? If it was going to kill her, it’s thru her bloodstream now.. You should have at very very least made her throw up immediately..

Call your vet. Even though she may be acting okay, she could have serious problems which she isn’t displaying right now (ie kidney or heart failure).

Has she puked yet? Is she conscious. I mean it was yesterday what is she doing now. It may be too late for toxiban its already in her blood stream and will have to run its course. I would certainly make sure you force fluids if necessary. Make her drink as much as possible.

I think the biggest concern is the suicidal behavior exhibited by your dog. I recommend counseling to make fluffy satisfied with his life again.

If this dog does not get deathly ill from this vitamin overdose you will know that what you bought was JUNK. Lucky for you, a recent study on pet vitamins proved that many of them do not contain anywhere near what the labels claim and some of the pet tabs actually contained things like LEAD and Arsenic!. Take the dog to the vet.

OMG! Why didn’t you go to the vet yesterday? Please take your dog today. Or at the very least, bring the bottles to the vet and explain what happened. They shouldn’t charge you anything, and they will let you know if your dog is in danger.

if your serious, you shouldn’t ask on here. that’s alot of drugs, for what i’ve been told is a small dog. it’ll kill her.
