Pet tinic works wonders on cats that can benefit from vitamin supplements – we use it in rescue a lot! I have never used it on a diabetic cat, nor have I ever heard of a cat developing diabetes from having CRF. I’d just take one problem at a time, and double check with the vet that the Pet tinic is appropriate for Lucy, and what the dosage should be for her. It’s dosed by weight, and my personal opinion is that the recommended dose is a bit high.

This question is best left for your qualified veterinarian also there are homeopathic vets if you would like to get a second opinion but they may have to see her and her medical past history. My vet and many new vets are starting to study homepathic medicine to use in place of or in conjuction with conventional medicine. There are also many books you can research in your local library on homeopathic and natural herbs and cures but I would always suggest to talk to your vet a to get there opinion. Just an example I had a cat whos blood glucose was always right at or just below low end of normal when I had blood work done at the vets so I read and researched and changed her food and the next time we did blood work and every time after that her glucose level was perfectly in the middle of normal. I am a believer in both conventional and homeopathic natural treatments.

I do not know that particular liquid vitamin, or any others. She is a Senior, will those vitamins help or hinder? Perhaps a home made nutritious meal would be good, Liver and diced veggies type of thing? I would consult a vet I trusted about her nutrients needs.
