Does anyone use the Good Dog pet calming supplement…?

Tuesday Sep 7, 2010

I was looking for info on it, but can only find reviews on petco and the info in them are limited. I was wondering how long it took to take effect and how long it lasts and what herbs are used to make it.
Thank you for any help.
Rainbow Child: Thanks but I don’t have the product, I am trying to find out about it before I get it.

There should be a number for the customer care dept..on the packaging .
They should be able to give you further information.

Add: oops.. will ask around for you if my local pet supplier has any information on it.

Add.. found a little bit of information
Ingredients
Proprietary compound of essences from flowers, including impatiens, HPUS and clematis HPUS, purified water. FDA-registered active ingredients listed in homeopathic pharmacopoeia of the US.

____________________

__________

It appears that how long it takes to work is dependant on each dog.

ms manners:

If its a homeopathic remedy, it just depends on the dog.
Homeopathic remedies work differently with each individual, and may or may not work with your dog.
If its going to work, you usually see a difference very quickly – less than two hours, in my experience.

You should really read up on homeopathy and how it works – its very different from supplements, medications, or herbal remedies. The good part is, you dont have to worry about side effects or overdose – those are virtually non existent with homeopathy.

Looked at the description, and it looks like a mixture of herbal and homeopathic remedies. I would be more likely to try a solely homeopathic remedy like Calms Forte.

Herbs are "natural" but natural does not necessarily mean non- toxic.
