The only time my poor little pomeranians wear clothes is at Halloween! Last year my male went as a bumble bee and my female was a fairy princess! lol They got as much goodies as my son did! lol

I HAVE YES. WE HAVE A MIN PIN AND SHE GETS COLD IN THE WINTER AND HATES THE SNOW SO IF WE GO FOR A WALK I WILL PUT HER LITTLE SWEATSHIRT ON HER AND I THINK SHE ACTUALLY LIKES IT BECAUSE SHE PRANCES AROUND WITH IT ON. I DONT MAKE HER WEAR IT IF WE ARE JUST GOING OUT QUICK TO GO POTTY. OUR GERMAN SHEPARD ON THE OTHER HAND, I WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO HIM CAUSE HE DOESNT NEED IT. THESE RICH PEOPLE THAT DRESS THEY PETS IN DESIGNER CLOTHES IS VERY UNCALLED FOR MAYBE THEY JUST DO IT SO THEIR PETS LOOK GOOD ON CAMERA

i used to dress my cat in a small dress when i was younger but i don't understand why someone grown up would do that just for the extra attention.

I find it disturbing unless there is an actual reason behind it (as other people have mentioned). Pretty sad when an owner needs to get attention by dressing their animal up in a silly costume so they can get attention. I remember seeing clothing for ferrets marketed a bit back, but wondered why anyone would torture their pet by making them wear a tuxedo and top hat. My ferrets would probably have ripped the outfit and pooped in the hat within 10 seconds…

Yes, My hairless Cresteds needed to be protected from the cold and sun burn. My Dobe gets cold very easily, and so he has a coat. We also carry a blanket for him. But I don’t do it just to make my dog look cute, I think it is kinda silly.

LMAO at the bad cats! I remember those outfits! My ferret would’ve done the same!!

No, it is just a fad thing!!! The animal has fur!!! It dosen’t need it!!

Some people may dress their dogs up just to dress them up, but some dogs need to wear clothes. A dog I take care of at work has an allergy to grass and pollen. She has to wear a little coat and boots so she doesn't have a reaction. Also, some little dogs have to wear jackets in the cold. They can get sick the same way we can. In the summer too some materials absorb heat from the sun, keeping your dog cool.
