Is there any way to prevent clothing from attracting lint and pet hair?

Saturday Jan 23, 2010

I frequently wear business type slacks and I often have to refrain from wearing some of my favorite outfits because the lint, pet hair, and other stray articles floating in the air attract to them like crazy. I have a lint shaver to remove the lint, but what about preventing this from happening before it starts? Is there any measure I can take to prevent my clothing from being so magnetic toward those pesky pet hairs and lint fuzzies?

Bounce makes a new dryer sheet to help, but you can also use the Static Guard spray. The material of these slacks obviously causes static electricity which attracts these hairs and fuzzies. I’ve not tried the dryer sheets but I do use the Static Guard Spray and it works quite well, and I’ve got 4 cats and a dog in my house.

I just saw a commercial from Bounty fabric softner sheets and they have come out with a new bounty sheet that will help repel pet hair from your clothes. Its worth a shot.
