Is there a Business in making pet clothing and Accessories?

Probably not in this economic climate.

What about clothing repair? That would be popular with people who don’t know how and want to save money that way

There is, people treat the pets like family members more now then ever before. So there is a growing market for pet clothing, beds etc… So long as you target the right people you should do quite well.

I would say so. Initial set-up costs can’t be much assuming your manufacturing at home. Some pet owners value their animals more than humans.

Obviously, clothing for the animals that are taken outside and accessories (whatever your imagination can dream up) for everything else. Profit margins if you are initially selling at market stalls and online would be pretty good i’d think. Actually a University Student local to where i stay came up with a paper shredder connected to a hamster wheel…..the hamster therefore had to exercise to make it’s bed. I loved that idea and i think it would sell well so make sure you are selling one of them in your line of goods. This also benefited data protection by shredding sensitive documents :-)

***There are 27 million pets in the UK
